I completed 200 hour yoga teacher training course from SYF yoga center. I think the year was 2017 on the onset of autumn. The location of yoga center is stunning in the backdrop of natural surroundings. The beauty of nature infused spirit and zeal to all yoga-seekers including me. It also offers an opportunity to understand the culture and tradition of hilly regions.

Laxmi Sharma

Dehradun, India

It was amazing. It was really an exhilarating experience learning yoga at the foothills of Himalaya. I took part in one-month long YTTC course certified by SYF. Every day was learning day for me physically & mentally. The classes of yoga philosophy were deep insightful with lot of information, which we seldom find out in yoga books. The method of teaching was lucid with lot of anecdotes and classical stories of India. In the evening, I used to walk in the natural trail in the premises of resort.

Ayushi Kandpal

Haldwani, India

I was absolute beginner with no experience in yoga and meditation. While touring pilgrim places in India, I enrolled into 200 hour yoga teacher training course of Spirit Yoga Foundation in October, 2018. I was afraid in the beginning. But the balance combination of practical and theoretical classes eliminates all fear and confusion from my mind. All my doubts got cleared. For the first-time, I realized mystical vibrations in my body, while doing meditation. Meditations classes were incredible. Meditation on the side of river was alluring.

The memories of yoga course have left an indelible imprint in my mind. The method of teaching was classical. I faced difficulty while acquiring yoga pose in the practical session. But the yoga teacher helped me a lot in adjusting and alignment of yogic poses. She was very supportive handling all yoga aspirants with lot of patience. The session of anatomy and physiology learning give me an insight of understanding yoga as science and art. In the meditation classes, I learned the art right from the basic. I was taught how to focus, attention, concentration and finally attaining meditation in a gentle way.
